One of the places in this world that are considered important for most people is the hotel. Hotel becomes a place which is important because every person who need lodging for a while, they do not have to feel difficult to get it. As we know that every person must have a lot of activity that makes him have to go to places far from home, for example, go out of city, go abroad, and so forth. They definitely need the lodging, except if they have friends or relatives residing in the city where it does the activity.

We certainly know that every person who will go out of town or abroad, whether to do business, vacation, etc., one transport vehicle they used is plane. The plane is an option for many people because the airplane is a very fast transport vehicle. That’s why, with so many people who use the plane, at the moment, we can also easily find airport hotels. Of course, airport hotels are also same as hotels in general, but, airport hotels have an advantage, that is they have direct road access to the airport. For people who feel afraid to miss their flight, choose the airport hotel as a place of lodging before they go is a good choice.

At this time, with Internet technology, we also do not have to feel it difficult to book a room at an airport hotel. On the Internet, there is a website that offers airport hotels reservation online. If you will fly from Gatwick, you can book Gatwick hotels. Of course, you can choose Gatwick hotels from 2 to 4 stars. And if you will fly from Heathrow, you can book Heathrow hotels. If you are a businessman, you definitely need enough energy and time so that you can meet your business friends with a perfect condition. And by staying at airport hotels before you fly to meet your partners, you will definitely have enough time and energy. You do not need to feel fear stuck in traffic and miss your plane.

Argentina is a popular destination, but it’s important to note on any vacation that there can be cultural, geological and meteoroligical differences when travelling abroad that could potentially ruin your entire trip. While in some places the differences can be minor, in others you could deeply offend a person by doing something you thought to be kosher. Don’t let this happen to you, below are what I believe to be the top 7 Argentina travel tips. Follow these tips and you’ll be sure to leave an impression of courtesy and enjoy more hospitality from the locals.

1. The most common form of greeting in Argentina betwen friends is kissing one anothers cheeks, so don’t be caught off guard when someone makes a lunge toward your cheek. And return the favour out of courtesy if they have.

2. Once in Argentina, one of main methods of transportation is underground shuttle, or by bus/trolley bus, or taxi. Their are 5 main public ral lines, labelled A to E and services operate from early mornng to late at night on a fixed-fare basis. Buses are generally very crowded but are often the quickest means from one place to another.

3. Spanish is the offical language of Argentina, while English is widely spoken – don’t rely on everyone to speak English, you should at least get some basic Spanish down before travelling to Argentina.

4. More then 90 percent of Argentina’s religious faith lies in the Roman Catholic church. Remember this as it does have an effect on what is kosher and what is not.

5. Argentina has 5 major airlines in an effort to make the big country smaller when travelling. Oddly enough, sometimes a flight will be faster and cheaper then say a bus or a taxi, so look into flying as a possible means of transportation for those slightly longer endevours.

6. You can get answers to most of your questions about Argentina tourism from the Argentina Tourist Information Center:

The obelisk is situated at the Republic Square and reaches 220 feet into the clouds and spreads 530 square feet at the base making it one of the most impressive landmarks in Argentina.

4. Take the Train to the Clouds starting at Salta to experience the majestic invention of the Argentinean engineering along with unbelievable views that are going to unfold in front of your eyes. The itinerary of this railway service is the highest in the world and is destined to take you straight to the clouds. The Train to the Clouds ride takes roughly 15 hours and includes first class service with the ability to admire many landmarks in Argentina.

With Iguazu Falls being one of the most spectacular natural sites in the world, it is a likely destination on any Argentina and Brazil travel itinerary. The falls can be visited from both countries and it is recommended that you take two days just to see the falls in order to appreciate the unique perspectives offered from each side. Once you’ve seen the falls, you may want to consider seeing some other sites in the area before moving on to your next South America travel destination. There are many options of exciting things to do in the area, one of which is a visit to the San Ignacio Ruins and Wanda Mines.

The remains of a Jesuit Mission and San Ignacio Mini are located 140 miles from Iguazu Falls. The Wanda Stone Mine is on the way to the falls so your tour will stop there first. The stones are formed underneath a hard basalt rock which is the basis of the entire region of Misiones. On a tour of the mines you can really enjoy semi-precious stones in their raw, uncut form. You will also learn how they are cut and made into beautiful jewels and decorative pieces.

Continuing along on your bus after the exciting tour of the stone mines, you will arrive at San Ignacio Ruins. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, San Ignacio Mini was one of the missions founded by the Jesuits that came to South America during the Spanish colonial time period. It was constructed in 1610 by two priests named Jose Cataldino and Simon Maceta in a region known as Guayra by the locals.

The mission grew and by the 18th century there were a few thousand people living there. In 1767 the Suppression of the Society of Jesus, generally forced the Jesuits out of the mission and in 1817 it was destroyed along with many missions in the area. The ruins, however are very well preserved and a spectacular destination on your Argentina vacation. The restoration began in 1940 and the church is probably the most spectacular building on the site because of its size and the fact that it was built with red sandstone. It received its World Heritage declaration in 1984 and there is a museum called the Museo Jesuitico de San Ignacio Mini museum. It is not the only ruins in the region worth visiting. There are also Reduccion de Santa Ana, Santa Maria La Mayor and Nuestra Senora de Loreto.

These China Travel Tips, Survival Techniques, will help you get around and make your trip to China easier, so you will be able to experience the real China with a little less stress.

China is an odd beast that needs to be respected; the major cities, Beijing, Shanghai, and Xian, all have their own personalities.

Some complex situations that you think would be an organizational disaster turn out to be great and you wonder afterward what all the fuss and worry was about. Then the simplest of tasks can turn out to be a major calamity.

This is when you have what we call here a “China day”.

These days come and go and are part of the experience of everyday travel in China. One needs to have an open mind when travelling China. It is a place with thousands of years of history and culture that is trying overnight to adapt to Western ways of living.

You need to have a very open mind when you Travel in China.
I have listed below a few China Travel Tips that will make life that wee bit more bearable on your Travel China experience.

China Travel Tips – Be Toilet Wise

o Never expect a clean toilet 100% of the time.

o Be prepared; Carry some tissue.

o You may have to use a squat toilet, again if you know this before hand it is not a shock. If you don’t know how to use a squat toilet, try the following experiment at home.

While holding onto something for support with both hands, lower your body down into a low squat position, so that the cheeks of your bottom is almost touching your heels or the back of your calf. Now, let go with your hands. See if you stay in this position for at least 1 minute. If you fall backwards or you cannot get up, then a squat toilet could be a problem for you! Practice, you will be happy you did.

o If you see a clean toilet, Go… it may not come again for a while.

o There are many public toilets around the cities, usually the ones you pay for are OK, (RMB .5), the others best to stay away from if you can. You will soon notice them as you walk around the cities.

o Be warned that public areas like bus and train stations are usually what I class as “tough toilets”, however if gotta go you gotta go.

o Outside of the major cities, the toilet systems are old or have very narrow plumbing /pipes and get blocked easily. In these cases a small basket is usually beside the toilet, this is for your used toilet paper.

One of the best China Travel toilet Tips I can give you, is use hotel lobby toilets; these are everywhere and are always clean. Still they may not always have toilet paper. It depends on the class of hotel that you are using.

I do not wish to scare you. However, of all the China Travel Tips in all the other web sites I have read, this is a topic not often mentioned, but it is very important to us all.

So outside of the major cities conditions can be tough. But most of the time everything will be fine, especially if you book a tour; everything will have been checked out before hand. However even the best laid plans can go wrong, so be prepared, the toilets in the smaller cities, towns and villages can be scary.

China Travel Tips – The Food

o The food is great and the variety is overwhelming. Most of the time you get to choose what you eat, or you can recognize what you’re eating, however sometimes you do not get a choice. Carry a chocolate bar or something; this will keep you going until some food that you can recognize turns up. Drink bottled or boiled water, as the tap water is NOT safe to drink, this is for the whole of China. Even boiled water, while sterilised can contain a lot of minerals and iron deposits that you probably do not want in your system. The safest bet is to drink bottle water. Tap water in most big cities is OK for brushing teeth.

o Eating habits – Most Chinese people have a great habit of being very noisy when they eat and lunch and dinner times can be a wonderfully noisy celebration, food tends to go in all directions, its just part of being in China.

o People also smoke at the table while everyone is eating, so some restaurants get very loud and smoky.

o If you get stuck what to order as most of the menu’s are in Chinese just look at the table next to you and point to the dish you fancy and ask how much it is, this system works really well and know seems to mind.

o I have a basic menu that will help you order safe food, (no Cats or Dog) this will enable you to visit a larger selection of restaurants, not just the tourist ones with high prices. You can carry it with you and use it in the local restaurants where most will be able to serve what is on it. This way you will know what you are eating.

These local places are very cheap and the food it great. Contact me if you would like me to send it to you.

When you travel to Argentina, you will most likely arrive in Buenos Aires, which is a stunner of a huge metropolitan city. Buenos Aires is the number 1 Argentina Attraction, and where the adventure begins.

This is a list of the top 10 things to do when you Travel to Argentina.

1. Buenos Aires is a cosmopolitan city filled with nooks and crannies to satisfy the pallet of the most experienced world traveler. The city is gigantic and each neighborhood offers rewards in architecture, cultural treasures and urban life. Tango was born in the neighborhood of San Telmo and La Boca. The government is located in the Buenos Aires City Center. Shopping is extremely unique and the nightlife is vibrant. Everyone is good looking, even the dogs. Transportation is abundant but it’s wise to bring a pair of comfortable shoes and take a walking tour of the city.

2. Iguazu Falls is one of the unclaimed natural wonders of the world. The entire journey there, and the semitropical jungle itself, is an adventure you will never forget. Not to mention the endless waterfalls that border with Brazil in this Northern Argentina attraction. Make sure you take the boat ride underneath the falls and use plastic bags to keep your things from getting wet.

3. Buenos Aires Tango is the most unique cultural contribution Argentina has made to the world in the last 100 years. It is currently enjoying a comeback and the options for viewing it are staggering. To make the most of a day in Buenos Aires, the Buenos Aires tango tours are the ticket. You will get a tour of the different areas of where Tango began and why. You get a Tango lesson, tango shopping, a tango restaurant and one of the best Tango shows available. And if this still does not satisfy, you can go to a Tango milonga for late night entertainment romp.

4. The Recoleta Cemetery is located in the elite neighborhood of Recoleta. This cemetery brings to life the history of its country like no cemetery in the world. All the legends of Argentina are laid to rest here including past dictators, scoundrels, heroes, and the most famous woman of South America, Eva Peron. (Evita) The Recoleta Cemetery is a 13-acre labyrinth of concrete, sculptures and architectural masterpieces so it is a good idea to have a knowledgeable English speaking tour guide.

5. Bariloche Argentina is a progressive Southern Argentina city and growing swiftly due to its healthy environment. It is located on a picturesque lake and in the Andes mountains range. Bariloche is also the jumping off point for out door adventures in the Patagonia region. But this quaint mountain town is most famous for superb world class skiing.

6. Salta Argentina is an exotic city steeped in history and located in an arid region in Northern Argentina. This area was once part of the Inca Empire and the Inca ruins are worth exploring. The famous train here is called The Train In The Clouds. Although this train offers panoramic mountainous views of the area, it sometimes gets stuck in the clouds and may not be running. Still, Salta is beautiful with rolling hills, historic sights, excellent fishing and a relaxed atmosphere.

7. Argentina beef has become world famous because the cows graze on nutrient rich river basin soil from the Rio De Plate. In addition, the climate of the Pampas region is mild and moist all year round making the beef tasty and succulent. The cow itself led the country to an economic boom in the early 1900′s that allowed for great infrastructure and decadent architecture that remains intact today.

8. Buenos Aires restaurants are where you can find the beef. You pay for what you get in Buenos Aires. Most restaurants have the same Italian menu and are very conservative. However even in those, you will find great parillas, good beef and chorizo. But if you cough up a little extra devauled currency, and go slightly upscale, you will find just about every kind of dining experience available to man at these excellent Buenos Aires restaurants.

9. The Colon Theater in Buenos Aires has hosted some of the most famous performances of each decade over the last century. It is still one of the top opera houses in the world and worth a look. Today it houses one of the most extensive costume collections on the planet.

10. Argentina products and shopping – Due to the devaluation of the peso in 2001, Argentina tries to rely heavily on it’s own industry and production. Therefore, in the shops scattered all over Argentina, you will find unique goods only found in Argentina and at fantastic prices. This includes rare stones, leather goods, and clothes and shoes. And don’t forget about Argentina wine. The Melbec is the best but since it’s hard to pack, we recommended that you finish the bottle before you leave the country.

In the highly competitive holiday market, the island of Lanzarote often wins new admirers, as visitors discover for themselves what a unique place it is. Admittedly it has many features that are common to lots of destinations, but it also has a few that are exclusive to this Canarian landmass.

For starters, it has one of the best climates for sun-starved northern European holidaymakers. And its location on the borders of the Eurozone means that it is one of the closest hotspots for people to visit.

Flights to Lanzarote from the UK are usually just four hours long, making the journey far more bearable for families with young children or anyone who doesn’t enjoy flying that much. In the last two years, the island has also benefitted from budget airlines adding it to their roster, so it is now also cheaper to get here than in the past.
But the island also stands out, thanks to its alternative philosophy to both tourist attractions and urban development. Lanzarote has seven highly individual attractions that were designed by a local artist, Cesar Manrique.

These include a Cactus Garden, dedicated to the spiny species and containing some 1,400 varieties. And the indescribable Jameosdel Agua, which could be classified as a museum, auditorium, restaurant, nightclub and garden at the same time.

And it has taken a considered approach to construction, with strict rules in place about the size, height and appearance of new buildings. The visual look of the island is likewise enhanced by the lack of billboards and street advertising.

As a result, Lanzarote is one of the most restrained destinations you can choose for a holiday. And despite the huge range of comfortable and stylish holiday villas in Lanzarote it is one of the most reasonably priced places for this type of accommodation.
There are three main resorts on the island, plus a wealth of quiet villages and towns that are off the beaten track, which offer more rural settings for vacations. Whilst the vast majority of hotels in Lanzarote will be found in one of the main three holiday towns.
So whilst on the surface Lanzarote seems to offer much the same as many other holiday hotspots, most tourists quickly find that the reality is entirely different. For those looking to escape somewhere unspoilt, with a great climate and some unusual sites of interest, Lanzarote is the one.
