La Selva de Oza

La Selva de Oza is located in the Valle de Hecho, formed by the river Aragón Subordán, in the Aragonese Pyrenees. It is a natural paradise, with peaks exceeding 2,000 meters, as Peña Forca (2390 m) or Achert Castle (2384 m).

Also of interest are three dolmens in it and the remains of one of the old Roman roads of Antoninus Pius, which was also used as a pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

La Selva de Oza is perfect for quiet walks and no special difficulties and enjoy their forests of fir, pine and beech trees and watching the many birds constantly flying over these mountains, like vultures, vultures and eagles. Other plant species are yews, maples and birches. There are also many shrubs, including boxwood predominates, and a huge variety of mushrooms, fruits and flowers.
