Cadiz
Tuesday, November 11th, 2008Although Cadiz is known for its beaches and warm climate, the truth is that the city has much to offer. The cuisine can be another motivation to visit the area, but certainly the parks and gardens are another face of the city really worth seeing.
One of the most important parks of Cadiz is Genovés Park. Located in the southwest of the city by the sea, surrounded by ancient city walls. Inside can be seen many trees and flowers of different origins, including a dragon from Canary centenary. The park originated in the late eighteenth century, and since then has been a very nice green space to go to walk and relax on a bench in the shade of trees. (more…)
